Terms of Service

By accessing or using Surfaced AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the service on behalf of a company, you are agreeing on that company's behalf.

This is placeholder legal copy for a demo project. Replace it with counsel-reviewed terms before operating this as a real commercial service.

Surfaced AI scans a website you submit and reports heuristic signals related to how legible that site is to AI answer engines, along with suggested fixes ("the Service"). Free scans require no account; saved history and expanded features require a Free or Pro account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Pro is billed monthly through Stripe at the price shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months except where required by law.

You agree to use the Service only for sites you own or are authorized to audit, and in line with our Responsible Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent the Service.

AI Visibility Scores and Full Pack recommendations are heuristic estimates based on automated signals, not a guarantee that any AI system will reference, cite, or recommend your product. AI answer engines are third-party systems outside our control and may change their behavior at any time.

Surfaced AI and its branding are owned by us. Content you submit for scanning remains yours; generated Full Pack assets are provided for your use on the site you audited.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Surfaced AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms or our Responsible Use Policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
