Indirectly. The mention and its context matter more than the link itself.
Assistants are not running PageRank. A link is not counted the way a ranking algorithm counts it.
What does help is the surrounding text. A sentence describing what you do, on a page someone else wrote, is corroboration — whether or not it is hyperlinked.
So a plain-text mention on a relevant, well-regarded page can be worth more than a link from a directory that says nothing about you.
Chase descriptive mentions rather than link volume: guest pieces, interviews, comparison round-ups, and community threads where someone explains what your product is.
