How often does Claude update what it knows about my company?

There are two channels. The trained-in impression refreshes when a new model is released — months apart, and entirely outside your control.

The retrieval channel is immediate. When Claude can fetch or is given your page, it reads the current version, so a homepage rewrite is reflected straight away in that path.

This is why on-site clarity is the higher-leverage investment. It pays off in every retrieval-based answer without waiting for a training cycle.

It also means you should not judge a change by asking once. Ask in a context where retrieval is available, and separately in one where it is not, to see both pictures.
