What should I fix first?

Anything blocking access, then your category statement, then FAQ content with schema.

Access problems come first because they invalidate everything else. If robots.txt blocks retrieval agents, or your content requires JavaScript to appear, fix that before touching copy.

Next, the category statement. Rewriting your H1 and opening paragraph to name the category, audience, and outcome is usually the single highest-leverage change, and it sits in the heaviest pillar.

Third, publish an FAQ block with FAQPage schema. It moves Answer Selection — also 30% — and makes you quotable in a way ordinary prose is not.

Authority work comes last in sequence, not because it is unimportant, but because it takes longer and pays off less on a site that still cannot be classified.
