Why did my score change without me changing anything?

Because the scan reflects what your site returned at that moment — and that can vary for reasons unrelated to your content.

Several things move independently of your edits. A slow or failed response during the scan can fail technical checks. A CDN or firewall rule may serve our scanner differently than a browser. A deploy may have changed rendered output in ways you did not intend.

Checks that read live files — robots.txt, sitemap.xml, llms.txt — also depend on those being served correctly at scan time.

If a score drops unexpectedly, open the pillar breakdown and compare which specific checks flipped. That usually identifies the cause immediately.

Rescanning is the quickest diagnostic: a transient failure will not reproduce, while a real regression will.
